3CX VoIP Phone PBX System for

VoIP Softphone Configuration:
SJ phone
- SJ soft-phone can be downloaded from
http://www.sjlabs.com Ensure that you have
created the extension that you wish to use with the phone in 3CX Phone System first.
Take note of the ID field and the password that you have entered for the extension.

Now startup SJ. Click on the options button. Go to profiles and click on “New” to
create a new profile.

Now enter a Profile name. The file name will be created automatically from the profile
name you will enter. Choose “Calls through SIP proxy” as displayed in figure 3 and
press OK.

In the SIP Proxy Tab, and in the “Proxy Domain” field enter the Network address
(IP) of the 3CX phone system server. The field next to the Proxy domain must contain
port number 5060. In the “user domain” field enter the IP of the computer on which
you have installed SJ phone. Now press OK. Refer to figure 4

Press select the profile you have created from the list of profiles press initialize
and the following window will appear. (refer to figure 5).“Account” field should
correspond with the ID field specified in the Authentication section of the ‘Add
Extension’ page in the 3CX Management Console.

In the Password field enter the SIP password. This password should match the password
configured in the ‘Password’ field in the Authentication section of the ‘Add Extension’
page in the 3CX Management Console.

Click OK to save the account.

SJ now tries to register with 3CX Phone System. If successful, you will see a screen
similar to the one in figure 6.

Now switch to the 3CX Phone System Management console, and click on Phone System
> ‘Line Status’ (This is the default page). The extension should be listed, and
the status should show ‘Registered (idle)’.
