6. Creating Outbound Call Rules
Introduction
An outbound rule defines on which gateway/provider an outbound call should be placed,
based on who is making the call and the number that is being dialled and the length of the
number.

To create an outbound rule:
1. Click on Add Rule in the Outbound rules section of the 3CX Management console.
Give a name to the rule in the general field.
2. Now specify to what calls to apply the outbound route. In the Apply this rule to these
calls section, specify any of these options:
Calls to Numbers starting with apply this rule to all calls starting with the number you
specify. For example, specify 0 to specify that all calls starting with a 0 (usually a
prefix) are outbound calls. Callers would dial 0123456 to reach the number 123456
